Hastig was one of the first companies that started to use TomTom floating car data to quantify traffic flows in an objective way, now almost ten years ago. Today Hastig translates mobility data into interactive webapps. These apps are map-centred and made in co-creation with the users. Their goal is to make these webapps as simple as possible, by reducing the amount of information. From the beginning, they were charmed by the simplicity of Google Maps. At the same time, they saw the strength of this tool: bringing GIS to the people: clear geo, compact information and intuitive to use.
