We are excited to announce that the next speaker of the Geo Promotion Conference 2026, part of the afternoon program: Hajar Yagkoubi!

Hajar Yagkoubi is a former United Nations Youth Representative of the Netherlands, a radio presenter on NPO Radio 1, and a widely recognised voice on youth participation, sustainability and leadership. In her role at the UN, she represented the perspectives of young people in international discussions on climate policy, social justice and sustainable development.

With a background in International Business Administration from Tilburg University, Hajar brings together policy, business and social impact. She regularly advises organisations and employers on how to meaningfully engage with Generation Z and how young people can be included in decision-making processes in a credible and lasting way.

Hajar is affiliated with the think tank Whetston and also a frequent guest in Dutch media, where she speaks on behalf of young people about current societal and environmental challenges. Her talks focus on sustainable leadership, the role of youth in shaping environmental policy, and the opportunities that lie ahead for organisations willing to listen and adapt.
