Foundation Geo Promotion

Are you interested in organising the largest geography and planning conference of the Northern Netherlands? Do you want to gain valuable experience next to your studies, develop your professional network, and learn much more about your future working field?

The Geo Promotion foundation is established in 1986 by students from the Faculty of Spatial Sciences (FSS) at the University of Groningen. During its existence this foundation has organized conferences and symposia about relevant themes in the field of planning and geography. This with the aim of promoting the integration between students, academia and the proffesional field in the world of Spatial Sciences.
